Jane Fonda, whose actions during the Vietnam War have long been a source of controversy, is now facing fresh criticism from former Trump advisor Stephen Miller. On a recent Fox News segment, Miller accused Fonda of “treason,” citing her 1972 visit to Vietnam and the infamous photograph of her on an anti-aircraft gun as evidence.

Miller argued that Fonda acted as a “tool of North Vietnamese Communist propaganda” by participating in radio broadcasts and labeled her actions as treasonous.

Though Fonda has previously apologized for the “Hanoi Jane” photo, she has remained steadfast in her defense of her anti-war activism. More recently, Fonda has redirected her efforts toward environmental issues, criticizing President Biden for not taking decisive action against the Trump pipeline.
