Regrettably, that’s precisely what happened to a few zoo visitors. The gorillas, inside their enclosure, simply proceeded with mating as part of their natural behavior. The display didn’t raise many questions from children; it was just a demonstration of natural actions, handled without fuss or excitement.
Zoo visitors had two options: either observe the mating pair or look away. Interestingly, one of the younger gorillas approached and partially obstructed the view, though not out of a desire for privacy. This led to a lot of conversation among the visitors. Some mentioned seeing more than they had anticipated, while others humorously compared it to watching an adult film.
